Abstract: (Show)

The article is a study on the elision of the stops in Maithili. It discusses the morpho-phonology of the Maithili verbs. Among three areas which form a natural explanation - logical, psychological and phonetic -, here the concern is with the 'phonetic' plausibility of an analysis. (Rajeev Ranjan Singh 2007-03-04)
