The article is a typological comparison of Nepali and Japanese. The author argues that Nepal and Japan share common features in some aspects of culture, among which the languages of the two have something common. Japanese find easier to learn Nepali than English, perhaps due to similar syntactic structure. The article looks at some of the similarities in the two languages on the levels of clause and phrase.
