The article describes the old but still very active monastery Chiwong Gomba in the southern Solu region. It discusses the features of the monastery with its physical setting as well as the art work and painting inside the monastery. It gives information on wall paintings in detail with the names of deities. It includes a one page diagram of the courtyard of the monastery. (Rajeev Ranjan Singh 2007-01-12)
