In this article, the Lahachok - Riban villages of Kaski district are used as a case study to discuss mobility and agrarian change in central Nepal. The data was collected in two different periods and is tabulated in a table showing incomes and so forth. The article also covers the villages in Parbat, Baglung, and Myagdi districts. It discusses the inter-village and rural-urban transfer of funds generated from remittances and the sustainability of livelihoods. (Rajeev Ranjan Singh 2006-10-09)
