The article traces the ancient relation of Nepal with South India. The author writes that Viramadevi, mother of prince Jay Sakhti, had the image of the bull and the flag-staff plated with gold at the shrine of Pashupatinath which was set up by Kapatiya Ganapati who had come from the Kingdom of Gauda. The article discusses 'The Chronology of Indian History' of C. Mabel Duff. It also discusses the writings of Dr. Regmi and historians of Andhra such as M. Rama Rao. (Rajeev Ranjan Singh 2007-01-02)
