This article discusses the sacred site of Aja Nye (a brgya gnas), a three day walk from Mongar Dzong in Bhutan. Padmasambhava is said to have meditated in a cave at this spot, and subsequently a hundred Tibetan "a" letters appeared on the cave walls. The article relates some history, legends, and recent developments of this pilgrimage site. (Ben Deitle 2006-02-10)
