This website features an education initiative designed to introduce Tibetan monks to the fundamentals of science, particularly in the fields of physics, math, and genetics. The program organizes annual courses taught by Tibetan and Western educators and scientists. The website includes pictures from previous programs, an overview of the program's activities, a brief profile of faculty and staff members, as well as statements from the Dalai Lama regarding the interface between Buddhism and science. The program is sponsored by the Sager Family Foundation. (Zach Rowinski 2004-05-09)
