Abstract:

This paper is based on a study which examined soil fertility management (SFM) systems in Bhutan in an attempt to determine the sustainability of these systems. While traditional systems of SFM based on the use of animal manure are still predominate, there is an increasing trend toward the use of chemical fertilizers in Bhutan. (Ben Deitle 2006-02-09)
