Account of Sacred Objects

Bhutan has a rich heritage of sacred objects that have been passed down through generations. Many sacred objects of Bhutan have often colourful accounts of their origins and their provenance. Accounts of statues, masks and ritual implements that spontaneously arise, fly miraculously through the air, or become alive and speak are common stories in Bhutan.
