Abstract: (Show)

This article intends to seek an alternative model for development in the light of Buddhist teachings and practices. The author labels this model "the economics of Buddhism." This model is opposed to conventional economics founded by Adam Smith (1732-1790) and further developed by his successors like Jermy Bentham (1748-1832). (Rajeev Ranjan Singh 2007-03-01)
