The article gives an account of the King Shiva Deva. He occupies an important position in the Madhyakal in Nepali history. The Madhaykal started with the initiation of Nepal era, i.e., 937 B.S. in the history of Nepal. It is a brief biography of the King Shiva Deva which reveals the date of his birth to the period of his reign as a king. It also discusses his role in the economic development of the country.
