The article discusses the quality of life of rural household heads in Chitwan, Nepal. The quality of life discussed here is the subjective feeling expressed in terms of levels of satisfaction on selected domains of life. The result suggests that in a three-point scale ranging from satisfaction to dissatisfaction on selected domains of life, 25 percent of the total household heads are satisfied with these domains and the rest are dissatisfied or indifferent. The mean level for objective quality of life is only two. (Rajeev Ranjan Singh 2007-02-05)
