Abstract: (Show)

The article describes the over exploitation of natural resources in Gorkha and adapted land uses. The author argues that the one method of soil preservation is the cultivation of soil conserving fodder plants, which could help at the same time to somewhat reduce the chronic lack of fodder available for livestock and is yet unknown in the Gorkha region. It includes 2 pages of sketched maps and 2 leaves of plates. (Rajeev Ranjan Singh 2007-02-12)
