The Ura community temple was built in 1982. The main statue in the temple is a two storied Guru statue accompanied by other statues of Long-life Buddha, Vajra Pani, Tara and Lord Maitreya. The most sacred relics of the temple is the copper made human size Guru statue which according to the locals, saved the valley from further spread of chronic leprocy sometime in the past.
