Men’s Leather Boots

Kolham is a type of special boot that is made from tanned hide, just like the lokpa robe. All hair or fleece must be completely scraped off when making such boots. Wearing these boots keeps feet warm in cold weather, and due to their light weight, they are loved by both elder and young people in nomadic areas. The monks also wear such boots in winter. The soles of the boots are made of many layers of cloth or leather, and the shaft is wide and long. Such boots are not water resistant, so should the boot become soaked with water, it takes a long time to dry and becomes hard to wear due to stiffness.
