Rainwear

Chargö is a piece of clothing that is worn in the rain. It is made of felt. In some areas, the rainwear is made of hide, which repels water quickly and won’t get wet. The rainwear mentioned here is made of felt, which keeps the wearer warm while herding during the summer rains. Nowadays, modern rainwear is made of water repellant fabrics or plastic, and are available even in the nomadic market. As a result, traditional rainwear no longer widely used.
