Pakpa
Pakpa refers to animal skin, which is a widely used material for making clothes and bags in both agricultural and nomadic areas. Pakpa literally means skin, shell, or rind. For instance, animal skin such as from sheep is called sheep skin and from tiger is called tiger skin. Pakpa is an important source material for Tibetans and anyone who does animal husbandry. In nomadic areas, most everyday objects are made of skin: robes, boxes, bags and shoes.
