Intransitive Verbs
Intransitive verbs do not require an object. In order to avoid the linguistically problematic notion of "subject" in Tibetan, verbs may be deļ¬ned according to their valency, i.e., the number of participants they require. Intransitive verbs can be called "monovalent verbs."
