The Connectives རྗེས་ལ་ and གཞུག་ལ་

These connectives, meaning “after,” accompany the verb in the past tense. Moreover, the verb is nominalized with the suffix པ་ and takes the genitive case.

• ཁོང་ཚོས་དཀའ་མོལ་གནང་པའི་རྗེས་ལ་ཐག་གཅོད་གནང་པ་རེད། “After holding a discussion, they reached a decision.”
• དེབ་འདི་བལྟས་པའི་གཞུག་ལ་གནས་ཚུལ་གཞི་ནས་ཧ་ཀོ་པ་རེད། “After reading this book, he understood the situation.”
