Tsangmo is an folk literary composition popular in central and eastern Bhutan. It is similar to Lozey in its poetic composition but is distinguished by the difference in the tune and manner in which it is recited. Like Lozey, this can also be divided into friendly, confrontational, joyous and melancholic types. Most Tsangmos are previously composed but some people also create tsangmo extemporaneously.
