Techniques of confidential communication is often used by young Bhutanese in their exchanges for romance or mischief. The techniques often involve the addition of extra sounds to the syllables of regular speech either before or after the syllables or reversing the word order. The addition is arbitrary and random, understood only by those who are part of the exchange.
