Tamang

Tamang is a language spoken by the Tamang people in Nepal and southern Bhutan. Originally from Nepal, this language has reached Bhutan in the 20th century but is in decline in Bhutan. It is said that the Tamang people are descendents of the men in the infantry of King Tri Songtsen. They are said to have settled in Nepali areas.
