Befriending Lozey

Bhutan has a wide vareity of lozey ballads. In terms of composition, some are recitations of existent composition while others are extemporaneous compositions created on the spot. In content and style, some lozey ballads have words and tone which are intended to express affection, love and friendliness. This type of befriending lozeys are chanted for auspiciousness and also generally invite a congenial and positive response.
