Admonition

As a soceity which was run smoothly with strong community solidarity and familial bonds through unwritten social contracts and support systems, Bhutan has a vibrant culture of giving advices and admonition, by the elders to the subordinates and the older to the younger. Advices and admonitions form a crucial part of traditional education and upbringing. Sometimes, advices and admonitions are given in gathering while other times they are given in privacy. When there are social problems, disputes or conflicts, the Bhutanese often initially resort to advising the people involved.
