Round Drum

Drums are used widely as musical intruments in Buddhist rituals and performing arts in Bhutan. There are many varieties of drums used for different occasions and rituals. The main frame of the drum is made from wood and the drum head from animal hide. Most drums have a wooden handle which is inserted into a firm holder. The drums are beaten with sticks made from cane.
