Daily Comportment
The Bhutanese monastic centres have a strict code of etiquette for conducting in daily lives. The codes are based on Buddhist monastic discipline but adapted in cases to the local needs. The way monks dress, walk, eat, drink, sit, sleep, pray and interact with others are based on the monastic code of conduct.
