Vartu Script

The Vartu script on, which the Tibetans and Bhutanese scholars believe, the Ume script was modelled is not used in Bhutan although a few expert calligraphers have knowledge of it. Lantsha and Vartu are two Indian scripts known in Bhutan before Bhutanese encountered the modern versions of the Devanāgarī script used in writing Nepali and Hindi
