Byangsi

The Byangsi (Byansi) are an ethnic group of Nepal who speak a Tibeto-Burman language of the same name. According to the 2001 census of Nepal, 1,734 people speak Byangsi as a mother tongue and there are 2,103 ethnic Byangsi. (Mark Turin – June 01, 2004)
