Dangchu Dialect

Ngenkha is a cognate of Bumthangkha which borders it to the north and east. It is spoken in the villages of Tshangkha, Tangsibji, Rukubji and as far west as Phobjikha where Ngalongkha is spoken. The Dangchu and Phobjikha areas after the Pelela pass have their own distinct dialect of this language.
