Throwing Round Stone

The game of doegor is played by Bhutanese men during holidays. A pair of stone discs or flat stones are thrown at targets which are placed at a distance of about 20 metres from each other. The players are divided into two teams and points are scored on the basis of stone discs closest to the target, the furthest distance being about handspan. Two persons from each team throw the stone in turn until all players have finished throwing. If one team has more people, one player from another team many play two rounds. The competing team will play as much as possible to pile the stones of one's team around the target and dislodge those of others.
