Children's Story

Most folk stories are told by parents and elders to the young people around the hearth in a traditional farmhouse in the evening after dinner. Story telling was the main form of knowledge and value transmission. The stories with messages of valour, diligence, honesty, altruism, etc. are told with a great amount of myth and magic. They help the children imagine things which are unworldly and mystical. Story telling was the main form of entertainment and education for the children in traditional farming communities.
