Account of Wind-horse Mansion
A special shrine is made to store and worship the deities associated with the lungta force which brings about fortune and luck. Literally translated as wind horse, lungta is a Himalayan concept perhaps derived from Central Asia and denotes an invisible power or aspect of human condition which brings about fortune and success. The lungta force can be enhanced through rituals, prayers and hoisting of flags on which the lungta blessings are printed. Accounts of enhancing lungta and the shrine to promote this force are told to show the importance and effectivity of lungta.
