Account of a Wind-driven Prayer Wheel

The use of wind driven prayer wheel is rare in Bhutan. However, the force of the wind is often harnessed for the sake of higher cause of making merit. Bhutanese print prayers on paper and have it turn in clockwise direction using the force of the wind or smoke. People often put printed payers on butter lamps so that the rising steam turns it in the clockwise direction. As this is not a common practice, accounts of how to make wind-driven prayer wheels and stories of specific wind-driven prayer wheels are rare.
