Guhyasamāja. The name of a major Buddhist tantra, classified in the “father tantra” section of the anuttara-yoga tantras (bla med pha rgyud). Also, the name of the tutelary deity (yi dam) associated with that tantra.

Sangwa Düpa. An ancient Bönpo sage and subduer of demons, said to be from the land of stag gzig, and normally depicted in the form of a human siddha. gsang ba 'dus pa is also the name of a peaceful deity in the Bön pantheon, a member of the “Six Subduing Shen” ('dul ba'i gshen drug). The relationship between these two figures is unclear. Their relationship to the Buddhist deity Guhyasamāja is also at present unknown.
