Tradruk Monastery is located in the heart of Tradruk township in Nedong county of Lhokha region. The monastery is also called Jampa Migyur Lhüngyi Druppé Yoru Tsuklakkhang, and it is believed to be one of the four earliest monasteries established by the 7th century Tibetan Dharma King Songtsen Gampo. There are many famous scared implements in this monastery, among them the most precious is the Tara statue (a statue that once spoke), an Avalokiteshvara which is made from pearls, a Buddha thangka that is woven by princess Kongjo, and Guru from Yarlung Sheldrak.
