Antagonizing Tsangmo

Bhutan has a great variety of oral literary creations, one of which is tsangmo. This genre of one stanza compositions are mostly popular in the eastern parts of the country although it is found in most parts of Bhutan. The antagonising tsangmos are mostly in confrontational in nature and the other party normally retaliates with another antagonistic tsangmo. Tsangmos are generally already composed although some may sing tsangmo extemporaneously.
