Befriending Tsangmo

Bhutan has a great variety of oral literary creations, one of which is tsangmo. This genre of one stanza compositions are mostly popular in the eastern parts of the country although it is found in most parts of Bhutan. The befriending tsangmos have words and tunes which are intended to arouse affection and friendship.
