Mandala Drawing

Maṇḍala drawing is a part of the iconographical drawings and paintings. Maṇḍalas represent the configuration of deities, in most cases a central figure with retinues in four cardinal points. Maṇḍalas are co-centric drawings on paper, cloth or wood but one can also find sand maṇḍalas and three dimensional built maṇḍala structures. The maṇḍalas are drawn as aid for visualization during a religious practice.
