Accomplishment

When the construction of a temple, dzong or a house is completed, in order to consecrate the structue, a tantric religious ceremony is performed. In the ceremony, a maṇḍala of deities is visualized and worshipped through prostrations, offerings and the practice of development and completion stages of tantric practice. This event is called drubpa and is sometimes repeated every year as a festival. Many Bhutanese festivals of this type are called drubpa.
