Redemption and Invocation Festival
The ritual of redemption and supplication is a religious event for making offerings to the gods and tutelary deities and to also conduct confessions and make amends for one's failures. Supplications are made for their blessings and continued protection. The ritual is conducted as an annual festival in some places accompanied by cham dances, tshog offering and such other activities.
