Parade of Scriptures

Religious scriptures such as Kanjur and Tanjur are paraded around the valley or village in order to bring timely rain and have good harvest. In some villages, it is an annual event in spring to help receive timely rain but in other places the parade of scriptures takes place when there is a draught or some other natural calamities.
