Gaukhanikatha of Southern Bhutan
This is tradition of riddle in the Nepali language of the Southern Bhutanese. The identity and name of a thing is enquired after providing its description in a metaphorical peotic form. If the respondent fails to provide the answer, the respondent is required to give a town/village as a penalty. That is why it is called Gaukhanikatha, the story of eating town/villages.
