Oboe

The musicial intrument of jaling or oboe is used during most monastic rituals and is not only an offering of sound but an aid for visualisation and meditation. It is used in pairs and made of either copper or silver body with gold decorations with precious stone studs. They are used during rituals, while receiving or seeing of important guests and also as signal for bedtime at night and as wake-up calls in the morning.
