Dekyi Ling (bde skyid gling; "Place of Ease and Joy") was the Tibetan government prison located in Zhöl (zhol) below the Potala (po ta la) Palace. There were at least prison cells which were underground, surrounding two sunken courtyards. Dekyi Ling has now been converted into a museum featuring displays of how prisoners were treated.
